F. and I worked on cleaning out the basement. It offended my fastidious nature but I was willing to do it to help him. There was a lot to go through, most of which was the previous owner's stuff, who was a friend of theirs. About all we got done was to organize some of it into piles to bring upstairs, go to the thrift shop, and garbage to throw away. Since everything has to fit in the color-coded city cans we still haven't managed to get rid of it all. We got very tired and took a nap.
