We went to visit China Town and had lunch there. We ordered a lot of food and F. talked me into having lobster with ginger and onions. He had planned on taking me out for lobster so this satisfied that plan. It was very good, though I was uncomfortable with the amount of money he was spending on me. We spent so much for food that the waiter seemed to be concerned that we understand what we ordered and the woman/owner? was very cheerful when she said goodbye to us. We took home lots of leftovers and were able to eat another dinner and a lunch from it. Afterwards we walked about, browsing some of the shops. I saw a number of things that I would have liked to get but couldn't really afford. I did pick up some oolong tea and a small figure of an old man sitting down with a cup for Tom.
When we got back to the car it died after it was started. F. got out and looked at it but didn't really see anything. He decided to try and get the car back home but there were a number of hills between where we were and where we were going. So we used magick to help get it home and the sense of energy was palpable. Later we walked to a theatre to see "Serendipity". It was a good movie, a love story about fate and destiny. F. couldn't get to work though, and had to call in. He is going to rent a car tomorrow. And take the car in for repair.
