I woke up late and Tom and I reconnected. A squirrel was caught in the trap so we took it out to the lower meadow and I got to take a look at my land and the mowed trails. When we went to get the car out of the barn where we have been storing it to keep it away from the hose-chewing squirrels there were Asian Ladybeetles all over the doors. They flew about and landed on us. While I am no longer as phobic as I used to be about insects I still find large numbers of them daunting and I was very nervous. Tom went to open the doors so that I could go in quickly and not linger by them. He showed me the sealed room in the barn that he had been working on so that we can move things from the house to the barn without them being destroyed by mice. I am not feeling as kindly towards rodents lately considering the damage they have been doing but that is, unfortunately, not one of the benefits of rural living. Afterwards we lounged about in the hottub and I finally got to play with my waterproof sex toy.
Alex from Gemini Manor had asked me about the builder of House on the Rock and I told him I would send him the info when I returned home. So I spent some time on the web checking out their web site at House on the Rock and sent the url to Alex.
