Tom woke up feeling poorly and took anti-histamine and Ibuprofen before we drove in to Madison to have lunch with Corey. It was sort of a birthday lunch as I was not in town for his birthday and his father didn't do anything with him while I was gone. We also drove him around to do errands and shopping. Since Tom was feeling so badly we skipped half our errands. I did buy a couple of sexy underpants though:) We will end up going back into Madison next week before I leave for Samhain at Fireheart, once Tom is feeling better.
F. called while we were gone, twice. He is not used to my not being home when he calls. He usually calls in the evening or in the morning and I am almost always home then. Tom and I tend to go into town in the afternoon or I run errands myself in the afternoon. As soon as I got home, though, I called my nest members to cancel our Samhain circle since Tom was feeling so poorly all day. Then since I never know for sure who will be coming to our circles I emailed the rest of my "tickle" list to let them know. No one showed up at the appointed time so I felt comfortable that we had dealt with it acceptably. We are not going to the Witches' Ball in Madison on Saturday either, though, and I am sorry to miss it. There hasn't been one there in years and years.
