Tom and I were online checking out Xandria so I could buy a new toy when Jack came to take me off to the Pagan Pride Day ritual committee meeting. Tom went ahead and placed the order for me though. I hope it doesn't take too long to get here.
We went on into Madison to meet with the other members and work out what we wanted to do. We still need to find other people to call quarters and to set up altars for the wheel of the year display. Hopefully I can do that next week. We are planning a relatively simple ritual, a simple casting, calling of the Goddess and God and the 7 directions, thanksgiving for the harvest, an energy working for abundance, food and watersharing, and closing.
It was really good to see Jack again so soon and we spent the trip in and back talking about a number of things as we always do when together. I was telling him some of my ideas for an ordination ritual. The theory now is that I will do my clergy challenge ritual at BelSummer and IF I am accepted into the clergy before Grow Closer in August then I will do my ordination ritual there. Since they are also considering trying to do the AGM there that year it could mean a lot of CAW members there to take part in it. And since for me it is about community that would be great. I would love to be able to have a part in it for the Internest, for the BoD, for Clergy, for Scions, for members who are seekers, for Nests who might be there.
