F. came home about 3 am with back cramps. He was in significant pain and took medication and a hot bath before coming to bed. When he got up he went to be with R. and I got up, ate, and finally did my exercises again. Then I called Tom and talked with him for quite a while. R. came down and F. got up shortly. The medication makes him loopy and he also was somewhat grumpy. We went out and ate at a different Chinese restaurant and F. was better after he got some food down. We dropped R. off at the DMV to register her car, which she obtained from her parents. And F. and I went to his doctor to get something signed for work about his leaving before the shift was over. He told me that he was very glad that I had come to visit; it made things easier for him, things just got handled. And he took me to meet his mother. When we were leaving and I tried to get him to get up and get going so we could pick up R. he leaned over and put his head on my chest as he got up. Then he told me that it was kind of a code for his mom, that she would read the body language and understand that we were close. The situation was a bit strange for me as I have never had a lover take me home to meet his mother who knows that he has a primary partner and other relationships. But it touched me that he wanted me to meet her.
Afterwards the three of us went to the movies and saw Zoolander. It was pretty funny and I enjoyed myself. It was kind of family night out for us. I think the three of us relate well to each other as a group and I am feeling so buoyed up the connection with R.
F. called M. his other lover, from the car. And his voice got soft and sweet. I found myself smiling - it made me happy to hear him like that and know that he loves her. I want him to have joy and beauty in his life and she gives him that too. At home, he did a reading for R. before going to work. I thought perhaps that she would like some privacy but she expressed interest in having me stay and be a part of it. Again she has welcomed me into her home and graciously shares her partner and love with me. She treats me amazingly well. It was very interesting to see how F. reads the cards, which seemed to me to be mostly on an intuitive reading of the energy represented by the cards.
After he went to work R. and I talked and exchanged readings. I forgot my stone casting set but she had stones so together we picked out stones for the various qualities, elements, and deities that were relevant to her. It was a very interesting reading and the images drawn out by the stones were meaningful for her. It was a lot of fun. And in the process of the reading she shared things with me. Then she did a reading for me and it was equally meaningful to me and I shared with her. It was such a joy to have this exchange. I am already wishing for more time with them and I have only been here 4 days but that is a third of my visit.
I do wish though that we had managed to get me connected to the internet so I could have downloaded my email.
