F. told me last night that we had a big day planned for today. He had gotten me a Chiropractic appointment for 8 am and after that an appointment for getting my hair cut again. We managed to get up and leave in time to get there at 7:25 for filling out forms. It was rather interesting. I saw an intern who did a fairly thorough intake interview. F. was in the room with me and occasionally spoke up to add information. I am not sure why it came up but he ended up telling the intern about our arrangement of three weeks with him and 5 weeks with my husband. I think we were rather an education for the intern. He was about the age of my oldest son. Then during the adjustment I was having a little trouble relaxing enough and F. said, "Relax, Kyril". I went almost completely limp. Later F. told me that it had really amazed the intern based on the expression on his face.
I didn't have time for tea or breakfast before we left, just a couple of vitamins. So after the adjustment we got breakfast and I had the California Omelet, which has avocado in it, and fried potatoes. After that we went to Robert, the long hair specialist that I went to before, and got my haircut. It is always interesting visiting him. The conversations are entertaining. There was a Body TalkTM seminar at the shop that day. We got there on time but he was not ready for us. So he asked us if we could do it in an hour and gave us his cell phone so he could let us know when to come back. We went browsing at a thrift clothing store, Out of the Closet, and the 99 cent store. This is something that seems odd to me as a rural Midwesterner. They have all these stores where items are only 99 cents. They remind me of the "Ben Franklin 5 and 10" stores of my youth in some ways. Eventually he called so we went back to his salon. It was too early for the wonderful head massage/shampoo that Yiu Pinh gives though cuz she wasn't there but it was ok. By this time I was pretty tired but happy. Robert is very into the Body TalkTM system so loaned us the informational video to watch.
In the afternoon we had a difficult emotional situation probably brought on somewhat by my lack of sleep, and I had only had a cup of tea to drink all day plus was somewhat dehydrated from the flight the day before. But at least part of it felt like thoughtlessness and inattention from him. I got into a very negative space and started to think about not coming back again. It was pretty intense for me and I just spiraled into it. We were in a somewhat better space when he went to work though.
