We were late again, and I was annoyed again. F. said I was being testy. But the seminar material was interesting. There were demos and in the afternoon the group did some exercises with each other. We covered what hypnosis is and is not, suggestibility tests, interview techniques, and inductions. There was also a demonstration using someone who wanted to quit smoking. I hate that I was not very good at the exercises after all the practice in similar things that I have gotten during ritual through the years. It would have been good, I think, if we could have had a bit more practice. Sigh… I did, however, take the opportunity to go into trances whenever it was presented. I do feel like I got better at dropping into them more quickly. I need to keep it up with self-hypnosis though so I can maintain that level.
