Yesterday Tom and I went in the hot tub, made love, watched a movie we rented, and generally spent a nice quiet day after I wrote the previous entry. It improved my mood quite a bit. Also M. emailed me - I hadn't heard from her in about 10 days so that perked things up too, and we emailed back and forth a couple times so I feel like we had good contact. I called F. and talked to him for a short time but it was good. He said he would call me later so we can have a nice long conversation since he had to go and take R. to work.
As it turned out he never did call back, something that I am not happy about. He does that a lot - tell me he will call me later to talk more or call me the next day and then doesn't do it. By now I guess I should just accept that he isn't going to do it and if he does by some miracle actually do it, then I can treat that as a pleasant surprise.
I did a reading on an issue this morning that led into a lot of soul-searching and analysis for me and then for Tom as well, though he wasn't the focus of my tarot reading. It just seemed to have triggered thoughts for him.
Later we went to a movie theater to watch Gosford Park. It was a comedy of manners of the 1930's in Britain and developed into kind of a murder mystery. Tom and I both enjoyed it more for the interaction between the servants below stairs and the look into that side of things. But it was quite entertaining. Afterwards we went to Wasabi restaurant on State St. and enjoyed the Sushi. I also had tempura and hot sake. I had a very good time.
