A Fun Movie

Tom had to go into town to take Corey to his driver's test and to look at apartments I think. Somehow I seem to have been busy a lot. I made a list of various things to get done and while he was gone looked for tickets for my next L.A. flight, printed out charts that I have promised various people to get ready to mail them, dealt with some emails that needed to be responded to immediately, continued to catch up with email from being gone, worked on the Starwood packing list and printed it out, did a ritual for the lesson we are working on in the Feri email list I am on, did a tarot reading about the path I should be taking this summer, talked with F., and made dinner.

After dinner we watched a movie, A Knight's Tale. I very much enjoyed this one. I liked the idea that the protagonist was able to change his stars and so his destiny in life. It was a romantic concept of growth and change, and love, and being true to who you are.

Oh and Corey failed his test because of collecting enough points for going to slow when turning, not being familiar enough with the headlight switch of our car, not getting parking on a hill right (for some reason Tom forgot to tell him about it), etc. None of them seem all that important to me so he should be able to pass his next test I would think. But he probably needs more time practicing anyway. So it is back to work. He still hasn't heard whether he is accepted to MATC and is fretting a bit about that.

Tom and I started the movie after I talked to F. for the night. But I still got a call in the middle anyway. I seem to be having more of that lately. The husband of one of M's friends called me as I had told them I would be happy to answer questions about astrology (he is learning it now) or help him as he interprets his and their charts. I enjoyed the conversation and learned that I need to go back and refresh my memory about declination. It has been a long time since I calculated charts myself, many years, and I have forgotten some of those details. I hope I get the time to go back and remind myself of what declination and right ascension is, and things like that. I have concentrated on interpretation of the chart after the computer calculates it but that is no reason to let that other level of understanding slip.
