People began to leave pretty early in the morning. It began to drizzle slightly so we postponed the closing ritual to give people a chance to take down their tents. Then we did a brief closing that included protection for those on the road or soon taking to the road. Several people stayed quite late and a few stayed over until Monday. Tom had really had it though. He is the Hermit type and had had an overdose of people. He began to move into withdrawal, hiding out in the bedroom with his computer.
I planned on leaving for L.A. the next day so needed to get things cleaned up as much as possible so that Tom wouldn't be left with it. Then I had to finish packing as we would be leaving for the airport early the next day. I was excited about flying back with F. M. had also stayed over to get her tires the next day. F. spent most of the time with her, which gave Tom some needed space.
