We saw *4* fawns today. One doe has had triplets. Tom says that they have been coming near the house quite often while I was away. While I was on the phone talking with F. this morning, the three fawns came up. Then they ran to their mom with that excited air that children get, and began nursing. She saw us at the window and got nervous, then moved off leaving the fawns to follow after. Just then a 4th fawn from another doe ran up to the first three fawns. I was quite excited :) It seems like a good omen.
