Beltane

Happy Beltane! Last night I took out bread and butter, whiskey and milk, to the Good Folk. I try to do it on all the high holy days. Tomorrow we, Phoenix and I, are heading out to Toledo to attend the Spiritweavers Beltane festival. It should be a great time. Not as much fun as if F. was going to be there but I am sure it will be fun anyway.

F. was feeling pretty down most of the day yesterday. Finally around dinner I did magick for him. Later he called me in a much better mood. He called an ex-lover and friend and had a good conversation with her. Then he got some things done that he had been procrastinating on so that helped his mood too. It was good to hear him perked up.

Today I woke up with my hand aching quite a bit, so much so that I cried out when I turned on the water faucet. Something about turning it really hurt. I remembered that Callista had said it was from my upper forearms and not my wrists so I tried to find the spot that was more sensitive and applied pressure to it for a minute. I am not trained to do that kind of pressure release work but it certainly worked and my hand stopped hurting for quite awhile. I was able to do my exercises but it began to hurt later in the day. I took ibuprofen and tried the pressure point again. Twice it didn't help at all - I guess I didn't get quite the right place but the third time it worked again. And it has been better ever since. Thanks Callista :)
