Errands

Tom and I went into Madison to run errands and I had an appointment with a medical professional (how do you spell the abbreviation for doctor's?) We stopped at Mimosa and looked at the changes since it changed hands and walked down State Street. I needed to get a long sheet of drawing paper for the series of pastels I am working on so we stopped at the art supply store. There wasn't just a single sheet or even a pad of drawing paper 44" long so I ended up buying paper by the foot from a roll of paper. It isn't the same color as the others but will be covered by pastel so hopefully that won't matter. Though it may affect the way the background color looks somewhat. I am not sure how I am going to set it up to draw on it though since I don't have a 4 ft. long hard surface that is convenient but oh well.

We went into Ragstock and looked at the clothes. I saw a number of things I would have liked to have but only bought what I went in for which was a knee length sweater. I like the way they look and the ones that I have seen were more than I was willing to spend. But these were $10 off so almost reasonable :)

And we browsed the bead shop. I was thinking about providing beads for registrants at BelSummer but couldn't find anything that I really felt was appropriate. So now I am toying with just getting beads for the people who are taking a part in my clergy challenge ritual. I will have to think about it some more.
