Family Day

Friday November 29, 2002

Tom brought Corey home with him after work Wednesday so that we could all traipse upstate to have Thanksgiving dinner with the newly weds. I was concerned about the long car trip though as the numbness of my butt has been receding and I didn't want a setback. I drove the first shift but definitely noticed some more numbness by the time we shifted. I spent the rest of the trip ensconced on three pillows, laying on my side in the back seat. It really did help.

We had a nice family Thanksgiving, ate ham, peas, baked beans, stuffing, chocolate cake and cranberry cake (cranberry for me.) Of course, the best part of it was I didn't spend the morning cooking and did little of the cleanup. Then we did spend twice the time on the road as we did at their house.
